Im afraid SMU might win their first ever game against Clemson this Saturday. I'm worried about our defense containing their QB but even more about our offense.

Things happen in football. I’d rather him go out and get his first start vs SMU this weekend and figure out what we got. Then to not go into the portal and his first start is VS LSU and if he’s crap there goes another season. This should show if CV is able to run this offense with the starters or we need to look to the portal lol Go Tigers!!!

Yeah be positive. Clemson can definitely beat SMU with Vizzina. If Tigs were playing Ohio State, Oregon or somebody like that then yeah be worried.

If Deshaun Watson played with one leg against the dirt scratchers the CK should be able to play with a sprained ankle.
Unless Dabo feels comfortable to hold him then have a bye then he will be ready.

in last year's Champ game. I haven't paid any attention to SMU however to know what other weapons he has at his disposal (WRs, RBs, etc)

Tom Allen's successful game plan against SMU when he was at Penn State last year gives me hope. Clemson's preseason defense was supposed to be great though, and that hasn't happened so perhaps the talent he had last year was much better than what he's working with this year...
