I doubt there are many people who seriously want him gone. But it’s not mutually exclusive to like and trust and care for someone but to also want them to be better.

I'm all in.
Coach Howard had some bad years. He had lot of great stories about how bad the alumni was after his hide.
Coach Ford had some lean years. I remember sitting in the cold (maybe rain, too. been long long time) in Shreveport Louisiana at the Independence bowl to see him lose to Minnesota. Minnesota.
Now Dabo has a rough spot and every year we read the same stuff written by individuals that have never played a down in college and sure as he!! ain't never coached a down in college, tell us all what needs to be done to right the ship.
Guys, Coach Swinney is absolutely the best ever to be at Clemson and most likely the best there will ever be. He will get facilities named after him, a statue, maybe scholarships in his name, no telling what will carry his name after he goes.
He ain't going no where. And me neither.
I love Clemson University and will be hollering for them if they never win another game. I will be cussing under my breath if that happens, but I will be there next week and ready to go just the same.

Shreveport was miserably cold but I don't think it rained on the game - just on our Red River cruise.
Since i have seafood allergies, hubby and I avoided the food poisoning that took out part of our tour group. We ordered pizza instead but never got it. We later learned that the delivery guy had quit on the spot after he was robbed.
Good times down on the bayou.

I do have hazy memories of the 1979 Peach Bowl when we lost to Baylor. We not only lost the game, but their live bear mascot almost ate the Tiger and was terrorizing the Clemson bench.

Wore no socks to that game, and it was frigid weather! Barely felt the cold, the day I got into medical school. I know Baylor won, and Mike Singletary was a stud @ LB. We rode into Fulton County stadium behind the trailer carrying the Baylor bear!🐻

And longer since Clemson has beaten a legit non conference game. Except maybe Notre Dame (can decide if they count as ACC or not) Dabo needs a big win. Thats why the LSU game hurt.

We lose Dabo we go back into the wilderness for 40 years. Already been there when we lost Danny and wandered aimlessly from 1990 to 2007. We don't need that route again. I remember loosing to Florida State for what seamed like forever. If this is down year then so be it, but let's not give up on the
man that delivered us form that journey. God Bless All

I definitely do not want him fired, I don't think he should even be on a hot seat. But I do want him to stop gaslighting us as if we haven't been disappointing for 5 years and telling us we should be happy with whats been going on since 2019
