GT has a good offense Clemson can not afford to go down 10 to 0 or 14 to 0 to GT. So it’s crucial Clemson gets off to a good start preferably scoring right out the gate. So if Cade struggles in the first two drives should CV go in at QB in the 3rd series? We’ve seen Dabo do it before with QBs in the 3rd series. CV could create a spark if the offense gets off to a sluggish start.

Only if Dabo is going to give the starting job to Viz, which he is not going to do, thank goodness. We got who we got and we are who we are. Too early to be conducting a QB experiment and killing the confidence of your starter.
Our problems on offense is not the QB, it is the OC. AND HAS BEEN FOR AT LEAST 4 YEARS.

We beat LSU if Cade could find open receivers. However, I am not totally sold on Riley.

As an OC. Sonny Dykes is the offensive brain trust at TCU. I think we’re finding that out. I’m disappointed that Dabo has allowed it this long but he’ll get it right after this season I hope. There’s just no identity to our offense. No design or purpose. The guys look uninterested or just confused as to what their role is.

You play your backups when you're comfortably ahead.
The idea is there is room for error and less pressure.
To do the opposite is flirting with disaster.
You think they were booing Saturday.
Try putting Vizzina in while we're down and watch what happens.

If our offense lays another egg vs GA Tech, and then against Syracuse, then I’d say that Dabo will make the switch at QB during the off week.
Whether it’s Vizz or Denson … or maybe Helms … I guess it would depend on how practices went.
(*). Any change as to who starts at QB will be a one way street. IMO, CK2 would insist upon taking a RS immediately if this were to happen, and then portal out after the season.
