With the exception of "cement shoes", it's pretty much the same stuff. "He's staring down receivers, not going through progressions, throwing off the back foot, can't hit crossing routes, inaccurate, can't read a defense, he's a bust".

Another poor Clemson player in a bad situation, huh?

I see a theme here.
Anytime a Clemson player doesn’t play well in the pros, it’s because the coach doesn’t know how to use him, the GM is clueless, the supporting cast isn’t good enough, or the weather is bad, etc.
I’m not saying that a lot of that isn’t true in Trevor’s case. He has had subpar coaching this year. His supporting cast isn’t great. But that’s the price to pay for being a top pick. And to be honest, it’s not like he hasn’t contributed some to his struggles.
I am sure he will turn out to be a great pro. He just needs time. While the GM and coach need to do their jobs, Trevor is being counted on to make his team better. I am sure he will do that as he figures out the speed of the pro game.

I’m not discounting the issues with the Jaguars.

Did you read my post?
It just gets old reading the same excuses over and over for Clemson players not playing well. The logic here says it’s never their fault. Sometimes it is their fault. Sometimes they just aren’t NFL star material.
I believe Trevor will be a star, but a rookie QB isn’t expected to come in and excel. Especially not the #1 overall pick with new coaches and a bad supporting cast. Despite all that, I don’t think Trevor has played up to his standard this year.

I can agree with that. In my opinion rookie QB’s should almost never start. It’s derailed a lot more careers than it has helped. That being said, I believe if Trevor was in NE and Mac was in Jacksonville the score would be similar.
But Trevor most definitely has played frustrated at times and turned the ball over. I can’t blame him too much. The offense may be top 10 worst supporting cast in HISTORY

I am a jags season ticket holder. I don’t post on the boards. It is a very uneducated bunch about how football works. Just a bunch of people desperate to win and complain together

Kinda need a running game and offensive line. Their is a reason they picked first and one player is not going to change anything.
