Fields is good no doubt but please give me one reason Kirby should have benched Fromm for Fields (or Eason, since you mentioned him) when Fields was given ample opportunities... game after game and he never consistently produced.
I can’t believe Smart gave him as many snaps as he did.
Smart would have been a fool.

How can you say he was not given a shake. He got more snaps than any back up that I can think of ... that did not produce anything consistently.

Let me see him against a D with a pulse. Kid is clearly talented but to say who was right against 1/2 a game against a chit team is laughable.
