We shall see. I certainly hope this is a great year. I will be honest, it will likely take a couple of standout seasons to garner much interest in Basketball around here as its just never been a huge priority imo. There are some like yourself who are passionate about it, and more who only care if they win. Personally I grew up a Celtics fan and the day Larry Legend retired I have yet to watch a whole game since. Itjust has little appeal to me. But I do want our athletes to succeed in every aspect of sports.

Seems kind of stupid.
You are saying that the kids he recruited out of high school were bad people or didn't have chemistry with the rest of the team?
Maybe he should not have recruited them, then.
and what do you think the program stands for when it's constantly losing kids it recruited and having to replace them with transfers (even if they are more talented or productive).

Nothing stupid about it at all.

When you look back at who has transferred out, and compare that to who has transferred in, there is no doubt that we have made it work for us.
No, I’m not saying that the people he recruited out of high school were bad people or affected the chemistry badly. I’m not sure how you got that from my post.
My point about team chemistry and culture was that Brownell has done a great job of bringing in players who are a good fit for us on and off the court.
We aren’t “constantly losing kids.” We lose less than the average college basketball team. Please try to keep up.

The transfers have much better stats than ones they replaced

at guard and forward. And if Hall blossoms at center, we MAY have a good year?

used to be you could say but look at the level of competition them versus us (ACC). But now everything is watered down with everyone moving all over the place w the portal. The quality of college hoops everywhere just isnt real good

I guess with expectations being so low with basketball at Clemson, one could say consistent mediocrity is a "success".
