I have some local storage arrays that have more latency than that.
My last place, we had 3 datacenters, and I ran dark fiber between them, and used remote storage on virtual servers (except databases. Databases hate remote storage). I did that so I could run all the VM's from one location, and have remote copies of the storage in case we lost a DC. I was my own DR service.
