I'll never give up on Tiger Baseball, but I'm concerned.

I know it's the first series of a long season, but my concern is after all the talk of "change", "new attitude", etc., the team and their woes seem eerily similar to the issues that plagued us last season. We are only three games in, so I'm not writing the season off by any means. The problem is it just feels like we hit a pause button at the end of last season and we are still playing the same season. I'm sure that explanation is clear as mud.

GO TIGERS!

Agree. Would love to see this team overachieve the rest of

the way. Not down on the guys after one series outing BUT we need to see something different than what happened last year.

You're not alone. I'm hoping Jack gets it turned around, but we aren't off to an impressive start so far. This is a critical season for Jack, and for Tiger baseball. If things don't improve by the end of the season I suspect D-Rad will make wholesale changes. I can tell you first-hand that High School kids are taking notice of Clemson's trajectory. I think this is the season that things get fixed, or a coaching change happens after its over.

We are already taking hits on the recruiting trail. The lack of change last year, assistant coaches not head coach, sent a message that we are happy with what we have now. I, too, realize we have only played 3 games. But, this is exactly what we saw at the end of last season. No improvement anywhere. We'll see. The next few games are against supposedly lesser opponents. We will know by the end of this weekend whether to hit the snooze button or not.

I agree with you about recruiting. I don't like losing, but I'm betting that our Administration has a plan. You can't just fire a coach like Jack without giving him a chance to right the ship. I think D-Rad had "the-talk" with him at the end of last season. I bet if Jack doesn't show improvement then the jig-is-up. Clemson will be able to attract plenty of strong- HC candidates if they handle the process the right way. I guess we'll know at the end of this season.

simple solution: Fire Jack... should have done it years ago and especially after last year. We have not been the same since Kevin O'Sullivan left. Very frustrating to me when I am a baseball guy.

our weakness was hitting with RISP and middle relief. Our struggles are still hitting with RISP and middle relief. Not seeing much difference from 2014 to 15.

I'm certainly concerned. David Hood seemed to ......

nail it last week when he seemed concerned about where we were going to get the run production from this year and that our relief pitching was really questionable. I would love to know if the poster who stated that our presence was missing in certain events in Florida was accurate because if it was, it would explain a lot. Florida has been a pipeline over the years for our bb program and to maintain a certain level of success, it must be fostered. We have seen the importance of recruiting and if Jack is not putting forth a full court press, it is really a matter of concern. It would appear that he hasn't.

There are no changes from last year, no coaching changes ,different approach, same old, same old, why would anything be different

What's the definition of insanity?

Expecting things to get better, after making no changes...

Just saying...
