marketing company), they project that by 2028-29 the SEC will provide AVERAGE payouts worth an average of $105 million, the Big Ten will pay out $94.5 and the ACC will trail at $55.3 million.

These guys are legit and don't kid yourself, I'm sure Clemson has probably reached out to them on a confidential basis to get some numbers prepared.
The point is this----how can anyone seriously parrot the line that the ACC can overcome this financial hurdle even WITH a new revenue sharing model? They can't. Not even close.

With hits the dollar is taking we might have a new financial system by then. Unless a miracle happens the dollar will become a default currency.
It’s going to be interesting to watch. This isn’t a good thing for college football in the future.

Where have you seen anyone seriously believe the revenue sharing model is anything but a bandaid at best? Do you have a link? Please don't point to the AD statements as they have to spout the company line at this point until their plan is in place.

The one thing that everybody misses---even "if" we dissolve the conference and render the GOR non-enforceable.....what about the TV rights? What incentive does ESPN have to give up their sweetheart deal? None. That's what really sucks. Swofford really screwed us over.

Wasserman did and Wasserman was given little to work with when this all began.
Those agents for Clemson and the other member institutions that did sign had 3 years to reconsider what they'd done in 2013 and apparently felt so comfortable, so enamored, they extended the agreement in 2016 another ~10 years to the current 2036.
One of the cruelest jokes, those that get sideways about Notre Dame's partial membership, it was Barker that was given credit for the coup.
Clemson has no one to blame, save Clemson.
And you're likely correct, not knowing the current agreement, ESPN can play hold em.

I believe the $94 mil value for the B1G is before it was known that USC and UCLA were joining the B1G. The article on their website from march 14, 2022 has those exact numbers. However, it wasnt until, I believe, June 30th 2022 that it became known USC and UCLA were joining the B1G
