When the season ends what would be your first course of action. I think we all know Dabo will be our coach for the future. But what change do you make immediately? I personally would fire Mickey Conn and dive head first into the portal for PROVEN talent. Then evaluate the rest of the coaches.

I think for the most part there needs to be a house cleaning of coaches and some players. Most of the crew of analysts needs to be fired and the money used to buy players.
Reset the culture to the day Dabo took over as HC.

sure who all he'll get rid of. Also like you said, hit the portal hard, especially for some secondary help. But, her must also change his loyalty status with who plays and who doesn't. Can't get talent from the portal, them have them sit behind guys just because they've been there longer.

Go to Riley and Allen and say make any coaching change you want and I support you. I will also hold you accountable for the results next year. Make as many personnel changes you think that need to be made and use the portal. I will hold you accountable for results.
Cut the support staff by 50%. Get mean and lean. Less distractions, less watering down decisions, only true leadership with bold decisions.

Riley is one that needs to go...he's had 3 years, we haven't gotten better, we've gotten worse. This season is proof of that.

I really don’t think we’ve seen what he can do. Dabo insisted that we run then”clemson offense” from day one.

So basically you're saying we should be holding Dabo accountable for the results of the people he hires? I mean both coaches were seen as hot coaches until they came to Clemson. I'm going to be extremely curious how people react when they go somewhere else and do well. Then and maybe only then it's possible some people may actually realize it's Dabo.

As far as I’m concerned this is it. This is dabos last chance. There are no more oc/dc decisions to make if this fails. (It will he’s lost the players)

Hire a football personnel manager to hire all the replacements and evaluate the roster. Do not get invested in emotions. No hires can have relationships to current admins, coaches, etc.
Take a 1 year 5M paycut to pay for this and allow monies to go to NIL. Do not deserve a salary for this year anyway.
Cull the roster of all the five hearts and others who cannot contribute. Portal in replacements.
Make all positions open going into spring camp. Winners get NIL.
Eliminate everything that is not about winning professional football games.
Stop talking about what you did in the past, nobody gives a crap right now.

After the season, evaluate everyone and cut 25% of the staff and support staff.
All the players must earn the right to play or start!

had a mentality and track record running an attacking offense and attacking defense. I’m through with taking what the other team gives us and bend but not break.
I’d also get rid of anyone who hasn’t been able to recruit and upgrade their position group and I’d allow the new coordinators to fire anyone else that they deemed fit.

Gone: ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE "STENGTH" and conditioning program....GR, Conn, Hall.....anyone with ties to CDS from BEFORE coming to Clemson...Mike Reed isn't affective any longer, for whatever reason....(maybe because he was passed over twice for DC???)
Reassigned duties (demotion): Tyler Grisham, Boulware,
"Short leash": CJ, DL/DE Coach...Matt Luke...
The $$$ players get has had a BIG negative impact....something has to be done to get to those players that are so negatively affected....something to wake them up!

If you are the Athletic Director, not Dabo, you take strict notice of what Oklahoma has done in regard to radically restructuring the football program to more closely approximate an NFL organization. Nothing about Clemson's program at present is in alignment with the requirements of the new era of college football.

First thing is to go seek wise counsel.
I would suggest he go speak with Saban. Pick his brain abt why he got out and what in HIS opinion it will take to turn it around. CDS has lived too much in an echo chamber and needs to hear advice from the various successful coaches. Maybe talk to a Cignetti who is not a natural rival and an older guy….someone who will probably be very upfront with CDS.
CDS has shown he will make changes, but often times too slowly. He needs to get out of his comfort zone where he has been King and seek wise counsel from coaches who aren’t direct competitors. This will take a lot of gumption.
Dabo speaks all the time about hosting other coaches; earlier in his career he used to go and speak with other people to get their advice. He needs to start that process again and be HONEST with himself.
