Clemson has a contract to be in the ACC for the next 10 years.
We will be out of the ACC before you know it. Time flys.

I hope you are right. I think the two conference league you will need to be invited and also commit to a certain amount money per year to pay players salaries.

Personally it wouldn't matter to me what conference we ended up in bc I believe that we would do really well in either. I believe with all my heart that with us being in the ACC especially since Dabo became our HC, being in the ACC has hurt our recruiting more than anything we could face in another conference. Actually our recruiting would improve by a lot if we weren't in the ACC bc the ACC is the only conference that we've heard FB recruit say they didn't want to play in the ACC bc it was a basketball conference, and they feel they could get to the NFL easier from the SEC or the Big. IMO, leaving the ACC would help us in recruiting, and we would sign more 5 star players than we ever will from the ACC!!!

I hear you, but how much longer will academics have anything to do with CFB? It’s a joke.

I think that amateur was a good thing for the schools, but now with all the money that's being paid, colleges should end it and close down the athletic departments...

That's essentially saying that the schools make so much money that they should kill the money maker.

Neither conference wants us or we would be gone. Money talks and if the big or sec thought Clemson was a benefit to them they would have made it happen already.

Some people actually want to stay so they can go on the field after the game.

Dumb reason to stay and sacrifice millions that matter. That tradition is going to die sooner than later. Eventually someone is going to get hurt.

IMO, I think they should have hit the brakes on the rushing the field thing a long time ago, and I'm actually surprised that nobody has been killed or very seriously injured over that ordeal. But if they're going to allow it, it should be only close family members like brothers, sisters, moms or dads allowed to go on the field before the players have left...

Let's be honest, the SEC and Big10 are both solid conferences at the top. Not so much at the bottom. Having said that, I like the idea of Clemson being in the Big10 and expanding its footprint geographically...

Why, exactly?

If we leave the ACC I would still prefer the SUC because of the natural rivals. We have been playing some of these schools since the early 1900’s. The closest thing we have to a rival in the B1G is Ohio State. I don’t see any fun in that.

And yes I would support joining the BIG 10 for academics.
