We could give some reps to that dual threat kid. Is it Denson? Not sure what it would hurt at this point. Heck Tyler brown from the wing T wouldn’t be better than ck2turnovers.

I am worried that Vizzina isn’t progressed enough to play. CK has been very bad at times and he doesn’t get pulled.
Denson is redshirting so I understand that.

Viz, if ready, should get a shot at Cuse in the second half if Cade comes out again like he has. He's pressing, scared and out of rythmn.

Against Syracuse, if it's another 3 and out to start the game. I say go ahead put Vizzina in for a whole possession, see what he's got against real competition. If he does well, let Cade sit and watch for a while. Might be good for him.

Now if it’s the 3rd quarter and we’re down 14 and Cade airmails another ball or throws another hesdscratching INT, then yeah we’ll see Vizzina.
Cade needs to play better. He has proven potential. Gotta get his head straight.

If something that will never happen (Vizz stepping in early for CK2 and then playing the rest of the game) ends up happening (Vizz actually does step in early for CK2 and then plays the rest of the game), then CK2 will ‘opt out’ of the remainder of the 2025 season to preserve his RS.
That is why the ‘something that will never happen’ scenario is exactly what will happen.

Only if we can find a team on our schedule to boat race and I’m not sure that team exists.
And people think that team might be Syracuse. I hope our players aren’t thinking that way because looking past them is not advisable.

It makes me crazy to see teams across the league start QB2 due to injuries etc and look great, there is at least one every other week on a high profile team, yet we seem to have nothing. I remember when Chase Brice who was QB 3 to Lawrence and Bryant came in and won the Syracuse game, he was a great athlete, played baseball and football all in college and didnt have 5star ratings but after one series we could see that kid was a winner, he had the intangible will to make others around him better. I just wonder if we have a kid that has that special something but weve lost our ability as an staff to sense that if it cant be measured in practice. I think we need new eyes and ideas in there.

Curious, DJ, Cade….whats the one constant? Coaching. I recall comments on here about multiple QBs who regressed. Also, perhaps we do have the talent-when they commit. For whatever reason, and again the constant is coaching, players regress a lot when they get here. Yes, some coaches have changed, and I agree with others, coach V was dialed in and NOT one I’m referring to. This seems to be a offensive anomaly.
Just a thought….but something other than talent is amiss…

That’s a silly narrative you’re trying to create their chief, with your whopping 9% pulse. How is that even possible? And how did DJ or Cade regress, sans Cades slow start to 25?

I can't say I know enough to be confident to opine on who is at fault for the team to be performing so poorly. But if it is CK, then how can Vixzina not be ready enough to be an improvement? If CK is so bad it is akin to him playing injured then Vixzina must be ready or he hasn't been coached well.

of the losses or losing control. The starting QB hasn’t been great, but at no point in either the LSU or GT games were we at a point where we had to go to the backup.
There is not evidence to judge Vizzina either way. If we get a nice lead on someone we’ll see Vizzina. If Cade can’t figure things out and it’s getting us in a hole in a game, then we’ll see Vizzina. But people just writing the true sophomore off are just making it up.

But if Vizzina doesn’t end up taking us to at least an ACC champ appearance..Then I don’t really want Dabo to then promise security to Vizzina after some good things against teams we should be beating all the time anyways.

Barring injury, I don’t expect to find out what we got with Vizzina until our first drive at Baton Rouge LA next year. Think about that for a minute. Nothing coming from limited observation at camps or reports from insider sources on closed scrimmages is going to be solid intel. The only way I’d believe anything from the spring game is if the QBs aren’t wearing the no tackling jerseys.
