If CU and UNC are in lockstep like DHood says

What exactly is their end goal? Haven’t heard a peep from them in quite some time.
At this point, I cannot see the ACC surviving.
I’m kind of feeling we don’t hear anything this year. Media Days are upon us, SEC starts Monday.

I am uneasy when we agree with UNC on anything. At least we know it isnt on academics.

They are letting Clemson and FSU fight the battle for them and if it works out, all they have to do is walk away in our dust with no lawyer fees.

Yep, they used up their lawyer fees budget a few years ago defending the sham classes their athletes were taking.

We have no reason to trust UNC about anything ever.

You got that right. Don't share any information about any "aces in the hole" or Phillips will be warned.

Maybe we are using them as bait for SEC membership since everyone seems to think the SEC wants that state so bad. We are in if we can deliver them to? lol

Clemson's media rights is a valuable commodity,

UNC not so much.
ESPiN stands to lose broadcasting rights to Clemson sports while Fox, or whichever broadcasting company owns B1G rights, stands to gain it. Don't forget they are fearless competitors. Both the SEC and B1G know the value of FSU and Clemson and the mass of views each draws to TV screens when either play.
If it's truly about the number of viewers watching commercials you can rest assured that both conferences are more interested in Clemson and FSU. It's not as if Wake and Duke are the prize.
I'm relaxed about our situation.

I'd say the SEC and BIG commissioners...

Have already met and agreed to their picks. They are just waiting on the first school to announce leaving ACC then ESPN reduces payout and 2 to 3 teams go to each Power 2, then big 12 takes about 4 more and acc is relegated to group of 7 non power conferences. Just my prediction.

Added notes: if notre dame will join big with addition of stanford, sec will take Inc and their pick of ncstate and duke. I'd say at that point fsu and clemson will be split between big 2...my guess would be fsu to big and clemson to sec. Big 12 takes miami, louisville, gt, VT, duke or nc state not taken with unc.
