The replay they just showed on ESPN really showed it clearly.

Looks like the ball was knocked loose on this reach in foul. Then triped afterwards.
Opposite end— KJ received a forearm push and got called for the foul.

The ACC officiating crew from last nights debacle said they agreed that Rod Hall was fouled but that it was "after" the ball was loose and was considered incidental contact.
My question is (despite the fact they're covering their collective a$$es) how the crew was able to discern this split second activity but were UNABLE to see the evidence to invalidate Pitts last tenth-of-a-second shot to cheat the Tigers last week????? IMO, the light on the backboard being on was much more definitive that what happened to Rod---although he most assuredly was fouled.

no such thing in baseball as a tie goes to the runner. You are either out or safe period.

BS call? That's like insult to injury, describing a specific coloring of their chit.

And the other announcer(whoever it is) said the ball was knocked loose, and then Hall was whacked;ie incidential contact. But we all know the only way Clemson was going to win that game last night was to be in the same position as Pitt was, leading by 5 and not needing a last second shot to win,or tie.

UNC or Duke - esp. in NC - is to beat the snot out of them. Winning close games isn't really going to be in the cards, evidently.

The other announcer also said Vitale probably had a better view of it at home than he did at mid-court. I definitely agree with you--the refs can't be put in the position that judgment calls will control the final outcome when it comes to a game against Duke or UNC. It's just not going any other way. Need a cushion...

trying not to officiate thru orange glasses, there is no way they could make that determination of ball out then contact as it happened live last night.

So what they are technically saying is you can knock the ballout or block a shot, then knock the #### out of a player and there is no foul. How appropriate an explanation to cover their screwing us over.

Bwahahhaahaaa! WHo has the pick of the guy thrusting his leg into KJ in Littlejohn. I beleive that was contact after the ball was out of his hands was it not?
