Our bats finally have seemed to pick it up and of course it’s when our pitching decides to takes a couple weeks off it’s just sickening how this team just can’t put it all together.

Agreed. 10 runs should be more than enough to win a home game. Let’s keep the bats going and fix the pitching.

How we have heard all year about pitchers like Bell , but he has a long way to go , gave up 3 hits in 1 1/3 today , including a homer. Came close to giving up another home run. Walked at least 3 hitters in his short outing , just took every hitter to a 3-2 count. Back to back bad outings . There is zero reason to have faith in this pitching coach to help him. Outside of Knaak we still have no real starters . Duke scored in each inning against Titsworth . We had no pitching last year at seasons end , and this year is no better .

Pitching was good enough to win coastal game.
It was good enough to win fsu series
It was good enough to win at least 1 @ nc state
It IS the reason we beat Georgia

When they have their bad game it’s atrocious but they win games for this team WAY more than the offense wins games. Offense is going to be the problem

The guy above only wants to gripe.
Notice he only comes around to dump on everything. Never cheers anything except when we lose. Unfortunately this team has given ammunition lately. Plenty of issues. Pitching has shown a lack of depth past the 5th or sixth best reliever. They have given this team more chances than not to win though. Injuries haven't helped along with two of the starters not working out and one is MIA.

PURIFY is why we lost this game… 0-5 at the plate with 3 ks and had an error in which if he at least gets the force out Duke doesn’t even score 1 run that inning.. it’s not easy too locate and throw strikers when it’s raining the whole game either.. being at the game it’s hard to tell how bade the home plate ump is but it seems we got squeezed some too. Hopefully Bakich considers putting mccladdie in for purify tomorrow
