What ND does or does not do should have nothing to do with us.Do whatever it takes to join the SEC.

2020 Clemson-ND was the most watched game since 1993 for NBC

of any of their ND games. It was the most watched game on ANY network since 2016.
Now, if we can get NC State to win every game but ours and Miami, FSU and UNC can have good seasons, who knows what the future holds.

Any source for that data? I can't find anything for the most watched games of 2016 that included the post-season.

I think Clemson needs to leave ACC for 1 year but Negotiate a NBC contract. Then get deal with SEC and keep NBC, then contract the Clemson/ SEC exposure to ole Sankey, charge enough to cover our GOR and then tell ACC to screw off since they are soooo far behind in TV revenues which should have never been the case with the quality of basketball during the negotiations. But the overall football and basketball product is a shell of what it used to be. Acc has no bargaining tools and will lose a ton once ND, Clem, FSU, Miami leave and I hope Pitt and VT move along too. ACC will be a quality D2 conference by then.
Coastal Carolina has a better product in football, basketball and baseball than 90% of ACC. Actually if our football and soccer were not great, Coastal would be better than us in major mens sports.

From what I've read UT/OK approached SEC and then were invited. All current reports say the same thing occured with USC/UCLA approaching B1G and then were invited.
So our path would require us to request invite first and nothing has been reported that we have done so

I personally think it’s already a done deal SEC

It’s just a matter of time before they announce it. In my opinion it could be after the ACC & SEC kickoff or it could be a year from now but I believe the deals have already been made. Clemson will be in the SEC.
Everyone is to quite about it, for it not to have already been settled. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear an announcement just after the ACC kickoff.
Hopefully the Board made a great decision last week whe they were meeting. The rest of the teams we leave and the BIG10 will be not liking us at all along with the coots funeral! Lol ??

Like another said regardless of ND, Clemson needs to do what’s best for Clemson. Gotta say if the ACC’s answers is SMU then it’s time to take a bow and move on.

Unless we have a billionaire donor who wishes to pay our way out of the GOR deal (and there might still be some legal complications), we are stuck. The only other way out is if ESPN/Disney gets involved and somehow allows us an exit. Don't hold your breath.
