If Isaac causes the Auburn/Clem game to be postponed to

an open date week, then Sammy's suspension becomes Ball State and Furman. It would be just like Auburn and Chuck Oliver to expect Sammy to still have to be suspended for Auburn even if they were the eighth game of the season. They actually think they are that special.
Obviously it would be the remnants of Isaac by the time it got here to Atlanta, but that could be enough to call off the games.

Remnants from hurricanes can cause havoc in places

like Atlanta and Charlotte. The weather could be such that people staffing the Dome would not be expected to make it. Also law enforcement would maybe have to be positioned for situations more important than a game. I was raised on the coast and have lived in Atlanta for over 20 years and know the general life stages of a hurricane. It is a possibility that it could cause a postponement if we are in the path.
The fact that the stadium is domed will be the last thing considered in such a scenario. While in a tropical storm/hurricane event, the rain is one of the major problems, a domed roof will not determine whether the game is postponed. Not a matter of people getting their hair wet, but a matter of rain shutting down a city.

type of cancellations in Atlanta. Obviously anything is truly possible, but I've sat outdoors in Death Valley vs GT getting poured on by remnants and it didn't stop the game from being played. Right now it doesn't even look to be sitting and dumping rain when it makes landfall. Looks like it will come and go and be long, long, long gone by next Sat.

Chuck Oliver is an arrogant peckerhead but he probably knows college football as well as anyone on the air.
I watch and read him at every opportunity though I hate him with a passion.

Our open weeks are different but what if we could get BC to

play Ole Miss on their open date the we could play twice this year on a home and away basis and have our open date on 9/1. That would give us 13 regular season games but in my hypothetical the NCAA would not notice. What do you thing? Go Tigers!
