1) I’d tell the Panthers to pound sand.
2) I’d tell any other teams that have interest, “Put me against your best DB and see if I can get open.”

Hunter Renfrow has more sense and class than that. I am no Panther's fan but they did give him a shot.

Panthers have never been interested in Clemson players. So, let's take our talent to other teams... and keep beating the Panthers into da ground. The Falcons are not too far from Clemson. And Mahomes could make a living on 3rd and Renfrow.

I think the Panthers was his priority given that his family has set down roots here in the Upstate. I’m not sure he’s so interested to continue playing in the NFL if it disrupts his family. That’s kind of the vibe I got from the mostly vague answers provided by the Pathers HC (ie that they are continuing discussions with Hunter). My guess is they want to sign him to the practice squad. That’s a good move to keep the DB’s working against solid route running in practice. Renfrow is probably more like thanks, but I still got skill to make your 53 man roster. Then maybe they counter with an offer to get in touch depending on injuries to the WR room.

I just hope the end of the Hunter Renfrow story ends with him being the Head Coach at Clemson. And winning 🏆 * another ring or two maybe.
