God only asked for 10%. He also asked to be first. He also warned not ever to elected Kings that they would take more than 10% and would do so with force and take your best son's and daughters. In our country we don't have a King, but the congress thinks they're lords and ladies and they take far more than 10% and they do it with force.

Because Jesus is Dead and the waitress needs to feed her kids. You obviously have never waited tables

Joke's on you. I paid what my scholarship didn't pay for in college by working in the Market St area of Downtown Charleston. That don't mean I'm more important than Jesus.

So your food will be 18% cheaper? They pay the waitress less because of tips. If you want to get rid of them, expect more expensive meals.

In my older age, I have come to view waitresses in a different light. In the earlier days, most waitresses were younger persons who were working part time (high schoolers, college students, etc.)and were not dependent on the job for a living wage. I now see many waitresses who are doing the job as a full time wage earner job, and many older persons doing it to supplement SS income. Thus, I usually tip 30-100% depending on price of meal and waitress. Never less than $3.00 on any meal costing less than $10.00(lunch/breakfast).
