With signing day coming up in a few weeks, plus the class of ‘24 football recruits narrowing down their lists, now is the time for Dabo to remind them that our basketball program is setting records.
Maybe he can schedule a big recruiting weekend for a home basketball game so that the recruits can see what a great basketball program we have.
Hopefully Dabo will make good use of the notoriety that our basketball program is bringing Clemson University. Go Tigers!

It does. Any athletic program success helps all athletic success. Most Clemson fans adamantly support all Clemson sports whether football or rowing.
The problem is you'd have to take them into Littlejohn... then what? All they'll see is faded NIT participation banners. Not sure that'd impress too many recruits.

things outside of his control after incorporating a big recruiting weekend with hoops for a home UNC game where we came in as favorites and blew a big lead in the 2nd half. Crowd was rocking and LJ was on fire, then everyone got Charlie Brown-L'd at the end and left the arena deflated. Haven't seen a recruiting effort like that at a hoops game since. He scheduled this year's Elite Junior Day for an Away game.
Basketball success has been a missing ingredient though in offering the full package over the years, so maybe we are finally seeing the worm turn here? Would be great.

That Duke game would have been great for recruits to visit. Littlejohn was packed and loud. Would have shown how much fun the players would have in the off-season.
