What it’s experienced the past few seasons, and we make it back to the playoffs, and even win a championship in the next two seasons, Dabo will arguably become the next greatest once Saban leaves. What had to happen this off season seems unprecedented—injuries, coaching changes, transfer portal, etc—and if we can make it back to the Clemson expectations of playoffs, I think it’s a very fair argument.

I already think Dabos two is more impressive then all of sabans titles just due to how Dabo did it and where he did it. Little ol Clemson isn’t suppose to be a powerhouse.

Yeah, and it looks like Saban is headed to 8. There is a large difference in HC experience between the two of them. Saban has been a HC for 32 years to Dabo’s 12. Since Dabo has become the HC, he has won 2 national championships compared to Bama’s 5. That’s not bad given the different circumstances of Dabo beginning in 2009 and Saban in 2007.

I think Dabo is already the second best coach in college football and will be the best when Saban retires. There have only been three other coaches that have national championships other than Saban and Dabo (Jimbo, Orgeron, and Mack Brown) and all three of them are at different schools from where they won it at.

Unfortunately the ship is sinking slowly but surely. Getting back is in my hopes but I don’t think it will happen with him.
