If Bakich wants to see DKS seating expanded to 10000-12000, seats would have

to be added above the seats around the infield and down the 3rd base line.
Anyone else have any ideas or vision how this could be done? Costs would probably be between $20-40 million with the cost of construction these days.

But I just don’t see it happening. Midweek games especially are just really hard to attend for the average Clemson fan. The amount of games plus weather being such a factor makes a remote place like Clemson a difficult sell for a baseball game. If it isn’t SCar or a Regional/Super, it’s really hard to pack it out with the amount of seats we already have.

I was posting the same thing when I saw your post. Completely agree. It's actually a bit depressing watching our conference series, then flip to a sec conference series and it looks and feels like a regional.
Not sure how it is the past two seasons, but we drove up regularly last decade when I was in Lexington. Midweek attendance was pitiful, but somewhat understandable... but even a top ranked weekend opponent, there were lots of empty seats.
No doubt in my mind, Coach B will have us hosting/supers. Hopefully attendance will pick up a bit. Still as Jimmy said, unless you're retired, can't make Midweek games and even Friday games were tough.

Hopefully moving to the SEC will help that. This will not make the B1G lovers happy but extra seats will not be necessary by moving our baseball to the midwestern conference of 8 month winters.

FSU Miami, UNC, NCST and GT should bring in more crowds and make them rowdy. What scared away alot of fans is the fact of the underwhelming seasons Clemson has had and fans getting onto other fans for getting onto the umps and the opposing players, making fun of them example taking something in a players name and making jokes about it. We used to have a true rival win Miami because we would make fun of there cubans players swimming to America then Clemson would go down there and Miami would make fun of our players being rednecks and hillbillies fun atmospheres with a little poking and prodding going on each side. We used to chant USA USA USA when we played Miami and there coach at them time did not care because he knew his fans would give it right back at Miami

I would say a good bit more than that as far as cost. But I think they need to redo the grandstands and make it look like UVA mix with Oklahoma st. Then make the Clemson bullpen inside and have the right field stand extend all the way to the foul poll

Better food needs to be a priority

I’m tired of chicken tenders, hamburgers, and hot dogs. They really started to skimp on the chicken fingers this year. Wake Forest had food trucks when we were there earlier in the season. Had a really good Mexican meal there.

I don't know why Clemson remains so backward with the concessions. They need to get on the food truck bandwagon at DKS and DV. Heck I went to the Liberty football stadium and even they had Chick-fil-a and Mexican in the stadium.
