One thing I thought was really bizarre was having Shefflin run a jet sweep. Why have a 6-8 guy run a jet sweep Must be a setting up some other play call. I think the only thing I want to do with Shefflin is throw the ball high and let him go get it above everybody else in the whole effing stadium.

I don’t recall him even getting off the ground when they throw to him. Not sure he has the coordination to high point an oblong ball.

Wondered the same thing. The play was actually a pop pass which technically got Ian a "pass reception" in terms of having a stat. Normally that's a play for s WR with enough speed to maybe get to the corner or enough football vision to cut it up in the hole? Clearly that wasnt happening with Ian thus my assumption that it was just to get him a catch.

The funniest part of all of that was Ian coming off the field and Dabo telling him “the tackle missed his block” like THAT was the thing stopping him from busting it for a big TD lol.

So many mixed responses, but yes chef on a jet sweep is just about the weirdest play they could choose. Maybe he was supposed to turn up field and smash through some folks. Hope we don’t see it again.
I want to see them high point him properly in the corner of the end zone, but looks like they need to practice that a lot more first.
