Ian Book, the ND QB that couldn't wait to
Dec 23, 2020, 4:04 AM

play our Tigers again with their best 11, and our best 11 to prove to all that they were the best ACC team, and he even went as far to say that he guaranteed a ND win. He was more than ready to make a lot of bold statement before our rematch, and now he hasn't said a word, and he has stayed out from in front of the cameras, and the microphones. What happen to him, did he get the covid virus and has been quarantined, why haven't we heard a peep out of the leprechaun QB that guaranteed a ND win???

I don’t think he’ll be doing any Medicare gigs down the road.

He may be able to pull off Joe's pantyhose gig.

That’s exactly what Book did. Can’t say I blame him for laying low.

The same thing happened to the family at my son's taekwondo class; they disappeared again or at least they haven't word their nd paraphernalia this week, but they certainly did wear it every day after November 7.
Funny how that works for some people.

He might be thinking about the remote chance they have to face the Tigers again.

Y'all can say what u want, he's a tough kid. He was on the run all night and got hit alot. Not many qbs could have run around like he did, other ones prolly wouldn't have made it thru the game.

I’m giving him a bit of a pass. The media continued to ask him, “How do you feel about the asterisk everyone (we, the media) have put behind your win over Clemson?” What was he supposed to say. He’s the leader of his team. Still, I’m glad they got dominated!

Media is always trying to stir up stuff to get clicks. What player doesn’t know this? While we may complain about ‘coach speak’, it is still the smart choice. When the ‘asterisk’ is brought up, you say: “We realize they were short handed, but those players we did face are on scholarship, too. I like my team. My guys are fighters, and I’m confident - and glad we get the chance to play Clemson for the ACC Championship. It will be a great game.” Even if he added “We beat them once; I think we can do it again.” then he gets a pass.
But saying “Good, I’m glad that they have all their players. That way, when we beat them they will be quiet.”
Now I say: “Eat your words, you cocky (arrogant?) idiot.”

Book predicted that the game would quiet the critics. Now he's quiet. Simple enough. ">

I hope they are motivated to give Bama a good game now. I don't think they are up to the task but I hope they try. Beat them up on the lines like tOSU did to us last year please.
I hope they enjoyed their brief visit to the ACC. Now they know what it would be like if they were a permanent member.

"Everybody who’s played football before understand there’s bad nights and that was tonight.”
He never gave credit to Clemson. Someone should do a compilation video of his interview during our game with VT merged with his SIX SACKS from the ACC-CG.

What's even more awesome...as a reward for their thrashing in the ACC Championship game, they get to play Bama LOL!!!
Media day should be fun for that one.
