I would say for Dabo to not complain anymore about the referees

But what was that?

Khalil Barnes INT? No review. His toe was 100% without a doubt down in bounds shown from the replay.

That pass interference call on a final FSU drive? There was absolutely nothing there. I seriously cannot understand what happened there.

The TD catch for FSU? That ball was moved by the ground. I cannot be told otherwise.

Also, what was the flag after that play on the FSU scoring drive before half? A late hit on Castellanos or what? I saw nothing again.

The missed face mask call

The previous call for no touch down that could easily have been

ACC refs aren't smart enough to fix a game.

No. But they are stupid enough to be making personal bets and trying to edge things there way.

I’m still perplexed by the broadcast the ref literally hurling himself into the fumble pile. I’ve never seen anything like it.

This was fricken hilarious - dude must've felt like he had the pads back on and needed to scrum for old times.

I can’t help but think bro took FsU and points and reacted on pure instinct.

Was not in bounds. His heel hit the white. If he had toe tapped it and stepped out with his other foot then yes it’s an interception.

I agree though. Not good officiating.

Like his other foot’s heel came down first?

I was at the game and they were showing the angle where his toe first CLEARLY touched. His foot was basically facing straight down and his toe hit first.

If he would have bounced off his toes and not let his heel come down it would have been an interception. Since his heel came down out of bounds, he was ruled out of bounds. That’s the rule.

^^^Exactly

It doesn’t matter that his toe hit first. The heel of that same foot on the same step went out of bounds.

Really?

Since when did a toe not count?

Think of it this way

When the foot comes down, every part of the foot that hits the ground has to be in bounds. So, if he had drug his foot without his heel coming down (out of bounds) or if he had lifted his foot after his toe hit, or some other process that didn't bring down part of his foot out of bounds on the same step then it would've been an interception.

The whole step is considered.

That’s just confusing because of the “toe drag” always counting, at least for receivers because they do it a lot more.

I honestly would like to find that rule.

Approved ruling 7-3-6 XV

Eligible A80 is airborne near the sideline when he receives a legal forward pass. As he comes to the ground facing the field of play, his toe (a) clearly drags the ground inbounds before he falls out of bounds; (b) touches the ground inbounds and then his heel comes down on the sideline in a continuous motion. He maintains firm control of the ball in both cases.

RULING: (a) Complete pass. (b) Incomplete pass. The continuous toe-heel touching is part of a single process and by interpretation he has landed out of bounds, thus not executing a catch.

It differs from the toe drag in that I’m the heal doesn’t come down out of bounds as part of the initial stepping action.

Makes perfect sense

Some think I didn’t like the rule, I obviously had no idea of it and was curious.

The ACC in general has screwed Clemson for decades, but the officials are just really, really bad.

By rule that was not an interception.
