Ok, here’s his exact words from Saturday -
“that’s not why we lost (in reference to the flag), because we had plenty of opportunities to win. We got them pinned and they had to go 94 yards and we give up a third and long to a tight end. Again, another bust. So really just didn’t deserve to win the game and we got to get it fixed”
Doesn’t sounds like an excuse to me, but maybe I’m the crazy one

"That was an extremely disappointing loss. Our defense didn't play well at all, particularly in the secondary. Their receivers were running wide open all night --BUT, I'm proud of our guys. They showed a lot of heart and played hard until the last whistle!
