over several years while giving his best performance leading the Tigers to 2 back too back awesome seasons. So many fans wanted him fired year after year. But he endured and gave Clemson his best efforts.
Now he has Clemson achieving their best season ever. I think he deserves a lot of praise for continuing year after year to push our Basketball program to #2 in the ACC.
I believe this will be his 2nd consecutive NCAA tournament and most likely his highest ranked team. It’s possible Clemson could win the ACC TOURNAMENT this year and even the NC.
Congratulations to Brad Brownell and the Tiger BB team.

Great second half ! Great Win for the Tigers and Coach Brad ! I posted several times Clemson would need to invest more money into the basketball program to build a winning program.
We Tommy Bowden left we approached football the same way. Look at the success it brought to the football program. It did not take Dabo as long because he did not have as far to build the Tigers into and Elite team playing in the CF NC 4 consecutive years winning 2 more NC’s.
Maybe with the foundation Brad has built it’s possible that Clemson could be successful over several years. Historically Clemson Basketball as always had to fight NC, Duke, NC State and at one time Virginia and Maryland.
Let’s put the past behind us and be excited for last year and especially the year. Clemson’s best season ever. Most conference Wins in the programs history.

recruit. Now that there is an even playing field Brad has been able to bring in talent that he was unable to get before in a timely manner. Brad has been a pretty good coach all along.

Some coaches are slow at learning how to win, of course the portal & 💰💵 helps too!
We should buy Brad a new two seater chair for his office as a nice gift 🎁!

I think the turn around in the BB team came a couple of years after the upgrade in basketball facilities and the resultant improvement in recruiting.

The tournament is weird and fluky things can happen, so I won't judge the season on it, but if we don't make a deep run in either the ACCT or NCAAT it will definitely be disappointing.

How far did we go in the NCAA tournament that year? That was the worst season in ACC basketball since 1969-70 and we lost to a Louisville team rated worse than any Clemson team since 1956-57. Why don’t you just enjoy the season we’re having rather than invite these fact checks?

Really happy with the totality of what Brad has done to this point. Obviously the last two years are a big part of that but he did pretty good in a few areas before that point too. Not so much in others.
But let's not kid ourselves. Brad has had 20 million reason to stick with and do a good job for our tigers.
