Averaged better than 6.5 YPC in the first half IIRC...and I can't remember exactly but that might be including QB TFL and sacks. Clowney wouldn't have had his little field day that's for sure

for the past 5 years has changed virtually none at all regardless of the numerous "what ifs" which fans have concocted to make themselves feel better about SC simply being better on both sides of the ball.
If Clemson had kept running the ball, if Sammy had caught some pass in the 1st Q, if Clemson's defense had stopped Thompson on 3 and 19, on and on and on.
SC defense was just better than the offense and SC offense was better than the defense...that is why they protect the ball and win.

It blows my mind how "cocky" you coots are! Congratulations, Clemson #### the bed and played horribly against USCjr for the past 5 seasons. Even your god of an Alcoholic Slurrier said that Clemson seems to just play bad against SC. It's not about you guys being better. SC's mighty defense didn't cause Bryant to run into White Chocolate on the Punt Return for a fumble this past year. Congratulations, you guys have beaten us 5 whole times in a row! Clap clap clap clap!!! Now please tell us what else has been accomplished???
