Regardless of all my opinions on Dabo’s post-game pressers

I really do. It’s a gut feeling, but I definitely see it. I just do not envision the ACC continuing to control Clemson.

Give it a little time. I still think some adjustments need to be made in order for this to happen, like portal utilization. But point still stands.

I just don’t know why he would not have at least started to figure it out by now.

What is going to cause the necessary epiphany if he hasn’t already had it?

You don't want to think that. You enjoy when he fails. That said, you have no reason to believe, because he hasn't shown he will adjust. We will have that answer though by 2027 either way. If he doesn't recruit better and use the portal way better, you will already know.

I believe JK likes holding Dabo accountable (the same as all other coaches) as it drives the triggered fans crazy to the point they even reply to his comments.

ACC just latched on to us like an ole ball and chain....or a bump that never goes away.

However....we need to make BIG punches next year as well as this off-season to keep ELITE recruits rolling in here and interested to commit.

Bigger.. faster ..smarter..and stronger is what we have to be

1) High School recruits could be developed by Clemson coaches to outperform screened & selected transfer players who are often older.
2) Loyalty to Clemson players, gleaned by not using the transfer portal, would result in a higher level of player dedication, energy and commitment with better results.
3) Clemson upperclassmen would continue to train and play full tilt with little to no competition from far less talented backups for starting positions & playing time.
4) The high school recruits desired by Clemson would be impressed by the low number of Clemson offers and would value that equally to freshmen NIL payments, instead of filing away the Clemson offer and continuing recruiting.

Agree Jan 2026 is refresh time if a refresh is in the cards.

Why has it taken him 5 years??
5 years is more than “a little time”

It’s been easy to see what adjustments he’s needed to make as long as fans take their Dabo glasses off first.
