And experience has taught me that maintaining bourbon discipline is crucial when the lights are on and the nation is watching.

Any other game, you can just burn through your supply of smuggled bourbon because you know you'll have plenty of time to sneak out, raid someone's unattended bourbon supplies, and get back to your seats in time for the second half.

But a game like this one, a four-quarter game like this one, you've absolutely got to game plan around never being able to leave your seat. You have to stay locked in.

And a game of this magnitude is definitely a two-bourbon-bladder game. It's folly to think just one will get the job done.

But after that, it's all about controlling your reps.

For me, I've adopted the 3:1 rule: Three plays...take a sip. Three plays...take a sip. Pacing is everything.

You've also got to get your souvenir cup filled with the Coke into which you're going to pour your bourbon BEFORE you head to your seat. This is critical. I've seen less experienced fans skip this step, and it's cost them big in the home stretch.

I hope these tips are helpful. Let's all bring our very best selves on Saturday night.

Go Tigers.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to go more than 2:1 honestly! Especially if it’s a close game

As long as you're on the north side and not driving on 123 after the game, knock yourself out

Unfortunately that game is too rich for my blood so I’ll be at the beach for this one. Still the same don’t know if I’ll be able to do more than 2:1. Will practice this week with replay of games

who is extremely generous gifts us tickets. It's why I practice so hard to be the most successful fan that I can be. I don't want to disappoint our benefactor.

Drunkenness is a sin. Which is why I practice the 3:1 rule.

Can you not enjoy the game without drinking? Just asking! I don’t usually drink during the big games so I can focus and stay locked in.

Sure, I can enjoy the game without drinking.

And have on many occasions. But I've found that a little bit of bourbon helps level-up what is probably going to be a very flat Coca-Cola experience, and is a nice way of cleansing the palate post-hot dog or salty, semi-frozen pretzel

Good to know yall have souvenir cups. Nothing worse than hitting a new stadium, smuggle your whiskey in just to find out they not sell plastic bottles. Impossible to get a good mix.

I usually go with a traveler fifth of Jim Beam duct taped to my boxer shorts. It might ride a little high in my nether regions.. not that I like that but provide the easiet way to hide from secruity. Been pat down numerous times entering a stadium to no avail.

Maybe im getting older and the hangovers hit too hard maybe I really wanna remember this one, or maybe it will be the 4 hours open bar at the champions tailgate but I believe I'll forgoe smuggling in brown liquor this time.

Bladder placement is tricky especially when duct tape is involved.

Our bladders tuck in nicely right behind our belts, no adhesives required. I've never had to undergo a pat-down procedure entering the stadium. Just the metal detectors.

Clemson features a new and reasonably priced souvenir cup design each season, which is a nice perk, and the Coke is usually fizzy.

As for labels, it depends on what's marked down at the local Rite Aid. This weekend, it's going to be a nice bottle of Blade & Bow.

We will be up the hill from Esso Club at a condominium/tailgating complex called "Tiger Park." Our family allows us to join them there, otherwise we'd be without a place to congregate.
