Why do I want him gone?
He won't adapt - It's clear we're not playing the same game anymore. There are massive question marks on this team that could have been addressed in the portal. He is too stubborn to say he WILL have to adapt.
Stubbornness - there's nothing wrong with loyalty... But when you know it, I know it and the nation knows it that should be confirmation. Cade aint it... DJ wasn't it. But we're wasting time on them. This is a WIN business and if you aint getting it done you need to see the bench.
The country club coaching staff - Why are we hiring all these former players? Go out and make actual FOOTBALL hires. He is hiring players and friends. Everyone of us know he is NOT going to change. Period. He will not adapt. He will not bench players that need to be benched.
I love Dabo. What he has done for this university is remarkable. We DO NEED to put a statue out front of him, he HAS earned that. But it's time.
This is NOT a hate Dabo rant. Again, love the guy. He is an amazing person and coach.
But.
It's time...
Wake up. It's time.

That’s a weak weak argument, three out of how many coaches? Look at the sidelines it’s filled with friends and family and players that aren’t cutting it

I love the man and appreciate everything he’s done for Clemson.
But I genuinely think it’s time to move on. I would like him to retire

Both the offensive and defensive coordinators are not former players and they're not friends and family. The issue is, is Clemson is not the destination that you think it is, either for players or coaches.

By publicly addressing the issues, yes some of these guys are still young but they are all getting paid and held to a different standard now than they were even just last season.
I do think debo can get back on the winning track again but not at a high level. I don't see him making the changes he needs to make and deep down. He's probably wired to run a purely results oriented organization.
Even aside from the country club staff, such as Luke and Alan, both stated a big reason for coming to Clemson is dabo's family-oriented nature and all that comes with it. Well that's all well and good and probably the right way to run a company at the end of the day, it makes you wonder if they just don't work as hard because of the culture.
Who knows just some random thoughts after a crappy loss.
