I agree for the most part, but picture this scenario:
Clemson is on the road for a highly ranked, nationally televised match-up with FSU/USCjr. Both teams have been know to do blackouts occasionally. Clemson comes storming out of the tunnel in white from head to toe except for the numbers and paw on the helmets. Good guys wear white, Bad guys wear black. Good guys win, bad guys lose.

is arguably one of the best looking, most recognizable and iconic in college football. It is for this reason that there are two very hard and fast rules as it pertains to Clemson's helmets;
Rule No. 1 - Never ever under any circumstances in any way, shape, or form are you to mess with the helmets.
Rule No. 2 - Never ever under any circumstances in any way, shape, or form are you to forget Rule No. 1
