Amazing reading the anger and hate on the boards this morning……
If this is your team, you always support it…. It’s fair to be frustrated, question, want more, but man, we are just fans, have no idea what’s really happening and just have opinions…
I want them to be better and win, and I do question some things, but I love the Tigers and will continue to support them and look for those changes… as fans the only thing we can do is opt in or out, its up to each of us to decide..
Im still all in….. Go Tigers, deal with this adversity and get better…

We all go to the games just like you and scream when we make big plays. When we play incredibly bad and lose a 10 pt lead and the game while possessing the ball for 80 secs in the 4th quarter and gaining less than 5 yards, we have the right to scream about that too. Our best win is Syracuse or Wake, and both are 4-3. Unacceptable to CU football fans.

Spoken like a true casual. I think people have the right to speak their opinion on a Clemson football message board how they please. We aren’t here to please you. Maybe places where people may share a differing opinion than yours isn’t a healthy place for you.

If you're mad, angry, embarrassed et al over a game, then get some air.

Sport has become far too ridiculously impactful/important in people's[fans, all] lives, which is why it was easy for me to turn off professional sport years ago.
For all the complaining, I'm surprised more people haven't done it?
And yes, no one is worth $230mil guaranteed to play, or $11.5mil a year to coach a game. I'd like to believe a reset is coming, but...

DSP, if you are turning off professional sports then you probably won't be able to watch any more college football

I am not paying the salaries of professional athletes, so I don't see the prob with someone getting wealthy. The NFL owners are killing it. I don't mind Dabo making 11 million either. I dont like the NIL though.

A good bit of people know what’s happening. Some of the issues are as clear as day. You should hear some of the things I hear from high school coaches….. The GOOD Thing is Dabo sees this, and is making changes. But not fast enough to prevent some of the negative effects
The anger has been amplified by the stupidity of his comments from this past week about the Fanbase. Those comments went viral nationally. Completely and totally unnecessary . You never ever go after your fan base. Ever. You can think it, but don’t say it. Concentrate on what you can control. Quit talking about the fan base, quit talking about potential national championships, quit talking about how many plays you are away. Just concentrate on the next game… Concentrate on what you can control. It used to be that way and it used to be preached that the next game is the biggest game.
For the past several years we have been playing the game with one hand tied behind our back…… For zero reason. The best CEOs always adopt and are trying to improve with the current environment. See example in Nick Saban. As I have said many times Dabo is changing but has been too slow to react

Have you noticed the 2 time defending National Championship coach rarely ever says anything? His focus is almost solely his team and winning. There are a lot of things not to like about him but I do kind of admire his nearly singular focus on prepping his team to play their best every week.

I’m gonna be purposely vague here.
Concerns/Observations about:
In-state recruiting Offensive concepts Lack of necessary experience on staff for a program of our stature Overall decision making about roster/staff management

I don’t think “support” means what you think it means.
If you think it means happily accepting poor coaching instead of wanting what’s best for these talented players that are being shafted by getting sub-par “coaching” from “Friends of Dabo,” then you are wrong.

The decision makers need to know the cans will not accept this crappy football. The talent is there! We’ve had to 10 recruiting classes for a decade straight. People that don’t think we have the right to be pissed off at this staff need to go pull for the Chickens!

I will always support Clemson.... as a fan and with my pocketbook.
But I have the right to complain when they are not playing to their potential. I have lived through the 3-8 season under West.
What is the problem is the talent level on this team..... Its one thing if you get beat by superior talent. We are not... we have superior talent and it is getting squandered. That is 100% on Dabo. I personally believe it is unexperienced asst coaches that don't know what to do other than how Dabo wants to do it. He was trying to build a culture and reinforce it with people who played for him.
I think these coaches don't know what to do.... We need assistant coaches who have proven themselves in the college football ranks and can bring fresh ideas. Being a great coach at Rock Hill, SC or Grayson, GA does not count. I have no idea why Conn is a coach.
I loved Dabo's idea, but it has not worked out. He needs to look in the mirror and make some tough decisions.

I support the TEAM and the PROGRAM throughout the bad and ugly, but I do not support those results.
We spend an incredible amount on our football program because we want to avoid the bad and ugly.

Support = care. If my kid keeps doing something that hurts him

I’ll step in and do what I need to do.
Dabo has a lot of hurting kids that are not playing up to their level of talent, not even close. Sometimes the best thing is tough love and that means taking off the orange colored glasses and stop driniking the tainted kool-aid.
Dabo understands what will need to be done, but doing it is not as easy. You get in some bad spots, only way out can be very hard choices but the choice has reasoning. At this point, and as shown on lady play of game by Cade, some players on the team are going their own way.
Frustration should be on this board, it’s an outlet. Trying to suppress that is as pointless as posting the frustration. But it makes it interesting to see how extreme some people are, but it’s nothing but a place to get out that disappointment.
