I predict one more transfer

It is the state of college basketball. Most won't play beyond college, so they want to play. I predict ajukwa or roper. Nothing against Brownell, he just tells them the truth of where they stand regarding playing time. Roper won't want to sit his last year if he behind younger players. Ajukwa and Brownell don't seem to be on the same page. I predict one will stay and one will go.

I'm afraid it will be Roper if he graduates. JR and BB never seem on the same page imo.
Hope I'm wrong though.

I predict you are wrong, but we'll both have to wait and see.

i agree that someone else will transfer but it wont be roper because he has 1 year left to play. most guys dont transfer with 1 year remaining. roper is our best shooter so hopefully he can bring in 15ppg next year and be consistent and actually play when the game is on the line(coaching)

consistently inconsistent players. What was I thinking. He should stick with a guy when he's scored 7 points in 3 games instead of trying someone else ??

When Roper was on his game, was when Clemson was

at its best this past season. I believe Roper is smart enough to know his playing time depends on his performance. I think he would be more worried about improving consistency that transferring.
I don't expect him to transfer, but could be wrong.

and/or improving his D against bigger guards, then shooting lights out everytime on the floor is the only reason for meaningful playing time.

He's the de facto starter at 2G heading into next year

The position is his to lose. Really has been for two years, he just hasn't been able to hold it down. When he squares up he's dynamite, but he has a tendency to get sideways in his shot. That inconsistency has held him back his whole career

All it takes is a bigger guard who can D Roper up

and he becomes a non factor. Not trying to bag on the guy, but saw it many times this year....if Brownell has any plans to feature Roper, he better draw up an O that gives him great looks.

He consistently got open looks, just didn't make many

he's our best player coming off screens. His size does kill him on D when he's matched against guys 6'3 or better most nights.
