Thank you for taking time each day to visit Tnet to remind us all about how much you really envy us.

We know, we know, it's tough. I mean, ya'll are having the best run in the history of your program, and yet y'all still have to watch us win a conference title and a BCS Bowl.

Y'all are over there winning 30-some games in 3 seasons, and well wouldn't you know it, so are we.

Sure, y'all can throw out original jokes about West Virginia scoring again and whatnot, but let's face it, the closest y'all have come to sniffing the BCS was that SEC title game against Auburn a few years back. We all remember the final score of that one.

Wait, let me be fair. Y'all have beaten us 5-in a row. Beaten us. Fair and square. Congrats to y'all for that. Heck, that's the most important thing y'all have accomplished in the history of your program, right? That's what your coach seems to think. I assume that's what most of y'all think too. And that's great, you have to start somewhere.

Oh boy, y'all say, here he goes. About to bring up history again. Yeah, your dadgum right I am! You know why? Because we have one! It's pretty easy to dismiss over a century of football tradition when, frankly, you don't have a single thing to point to before the last several seasons other than an ACC title back in the 60s.

Oh no. I done it now. Brought up the ACC. That weak conference that couldn't possibly match up to the SEC. One day y'all will stop riding the coattails of Bama and Auburn and others and actually win one of those shiny SEC trophies. I firmly believe that. Maybe even this century. Will y'all disown the ACC one at that point?

Anyway, let me get back on point here. Fact is y'all can't stand it that no matter what you do, heck, even when you beat us, you just can't one up us.

Sure, y'all go ahead and drivel on about final rankings and so forth. Good for y'all. Fact is you don't have squat in terms of hardware to go along with that. Years from now we are going to all have a beer and go by and look at that Orange Bowl trophy and maybe an ACC title or two. Y'all can have fun talking about that time y'all were ranked really high!

Speaking of history, I can't wait until we beat your rear ends this fall. One of my favorite parts of the experience will be how fast all you Gamecocks want to start talkin' history.

So, y'all just keep visiting us everyday so that we can be reminded of just how much y'all envy us.
