i guess some folks hear "baseball lingo". i hear tired cliches. i hear a guy trying to hide a limited knowledge of baseball behind them. he may be a hell of a guy, i don't know. but IMO, he is "small time" as an announcer. that doesn't make him a bad person

If you have your own 3 or 4 hour radio show and you devote multiple hours taking calls from the exact same people every single day, you are small time. I've tried to listen to WCCP...I don't know how anyone can do it.

Dan Scott used to be pretty good at calling games.
When Munson is calling games, I would rather they just put a mic on the field and let us guess what is going on. Not like u would know any less
