Boyd has always come across as a solid down to earth guy. When I hear they might do something for the students I think these guys are pretty well connected and have real perspective on being a student athlete. It is refreshing to see that in addition to their game day exploits

I've had the privelege to meet Tajh on several occasions, out in a public venues where he was drinking coke, and me something a bit more toxic. The first time I met him I didn't even know who he was. Since then we have exchanged geetings on several occasions. The last time, I was sitting at the bar (engaged in evening prayers, of cours) and someone tapped me on the shoulder; I turned and it was Tajh, and he remembered my name. What a genuine, humble, and genuinely decent person. We are blessed to have him at Clemson. What a great representative for Clemson.

network of shelters for the animals he rescues. when he is not playing qb or studying he is recuing helpless animals.
He even organized a food drive to help starving students who were stuck outdoors overnight. (Ok he took pizzas to float builders at Bowman field).

I use to help a little ##### out every now and again when I was his age too. I mean what man doesn't enjoy the warmth that brings?

If that is intended as sarcasm, then you have the brain of a snail, but are probably less attracative.

Good article. Class guy all around. Couple of years ago he came to laurens to visit a young child with autism and other disorders. Ended playing football with the boys older brothers and turning the LSU fan mother into a huge Tajh Boyd fan! Above and beyond seems to be TB's way.

Excellent article David!! Best article I have seen about Tajh! What a true class act, leader and incredible representative for the Tigers, his family and Clemson University! Tajh is a true Heisman winner in every sense! Hope he knows how much Tiger Nation loves and appreciates him! Happy Bday #10!

They only like the negative spotlight. (Johnny Manziel being kicked out of parties and taking money for autographs.)

...Swinney has been a godsend to this program for bringing guys like Tajh Boyd into this program.
When I read this stuff, even if Boyd does lose to USuC again this year, NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, had better pull any stunts against Boyd's apartment or anything else.
This kid is an ambassador for Clemson, and a great one at that.

Tajh is 2 torn ACLs away from being Lattimore
Sep 26, 2013, 10:02 PM

I'm just saying that Clemson has (and has always had) players with great character like Tajh. We have had so many like Tajh over the years. We don't have one that we worship like Lattimore at U$uC.
GO TIGERS! I am so proud of the players Dabo is recruiting. Character counts.
