I have been messaged by many regarding UGA and declining White House…

I went to grad school at Georgia. While I was an incredible student, I was very disillusioned with what the institution had become. The university of Georgia has become very elitist and extremely academic. I was thankful to receive a full ride. Truly thankful. However, in class I was often the lone conservative and went back-and-forth with my professors and classmates. And, I won. Still, the atmosphere in class and on campus was toxic. Very sad. (Go to a technical college or a trade school before you ever go to a traditional college or university today ) Downtown Athens, while very vibrant and alive, is an absolute freak show. Now, I did meet quite a few ladies…
I think this article pretty succinctly sums up why Georgia declined an invitation to visit the White House.

A high school buddy of mine retired last December. He was a pharmacy professor at University of Georgia. He echoed the same things you mention as to why he retired. He was told at the start of the semester he had to go to each student and ask which pronoun they wanted to be identified as.
He said enough is enough.

Nah I think you do have to have a criminal past to work there. With the kind of money and real estate these career politicians have and knowing their salaries there seems to be a lot of pocket lining. Probably not beneficial for the ones that do pay taxes.
I do know that 3+4=7. At least it did when I was in school.

Nah, CT88 is pretty spot on. I had the opportunity to go to law school there and met with 3 professors. Their focus was how do I feel about Hillary and Trump. I played along and made a Trump joke bc he spouts off, and they rolled in the looney wagon. Hillary is the Messiah she claimed

I am talking about academics. I was there in early 90s 3 years and transferred out because they would not let my employment as a police officer count as the internship. Wanted me to take leave of absence and go work free somewhere for a semester. F that. Most professors were Straight up Communist then. Sure it's worse now. Academically it's a good school. Socially it's leftist commie land.

Yeah I had a similar thing happen when I attempted to transfer law school. They wouldn't accept any hours over 30 on my transfer which would've been a bug setback.
UGA academically, even by the hardest conservative at Clemson, Doctor Woodard who was campaign mngr for creepy lips Lindsey Graham years ago respected UGAs law school. But now days, colleges have become glorified babysitters. In my English and History classes, if you confused a sentence by talking about a singular person and later in the sentence said "they attempted to overhaul the banking system..." it was an automatic F lol. Now I could care less how people want to use pronouns to make them comfortable, but participation and most improved student for a college class is beyond absurd to me and any type of rigorous standard which academia by definition demands in order to question everything and form educated answers through research and critical thought. The standards have fallen almost everywhere, but especially at growing liberal institutions. And sadly, I did see it at Clemson a few times when there were protests to change Tillman Hall by the professors. Frederick Douglass, Thomas Paine, the trial of Mr. Scott in 1851, MLK Jr. should all be mandatory readings and critical essays written for entrance exams. Geez here I go lol.
I haven't been on in a while. Usually I just throw out a joke and talk football. Speaking of, I can't wait to see Klubnik do his thing with our fresh linemen and our top of the line new ACs especially what our new offense will look like!!!!

You now pretty much have to go to a private school to be educated properly in liberal arts and critical thinking. All public universities have adopted indoctrination. They discourage challenging the narrative. The narrative is true simply because enough of us say it's true. Funny you mention English. My first class at UGA was English 101. G.A.was teaching the class. Later found out she was a bartender and had some good times together. On day 1 she said "I don't care how you speak. I only care that your written communication is in the English of the Queen."

I figured that it had nothing to do with politics. My daughter is graduating from Clemson in Animal & Veterinary Science and will begin UGA Vet School in August (she qualified for one of the in-state tuition seats—just had to brag about it). She is extremely excited about going to UGA Vet School, great program and the campus is beautiful. Even though Clemson is my school, I admire UGA’s Ag and Forestry schools. They are still somewhat conservative, maybe? We went to Athens a few weeks ago, and went to Mama’s Boy, fantastic food, but our “hostess” was a dude with an Adam’s Apple, big knuckles, Barry White voice, but dressed like chic. I wanted to leave but the kids were hungry and said to ignore “her”. A lot of weirdos in downtown Athens…

I had a number of classmates in Forestry school that couldn’t quite get the job done in Lehotsky Hall who ended up on the Deans List at ‘that other place’! UGA has improved in recent years however they still “Ain’t” Clemson.

No, they’re definitely not Clemson. But they have one of the best vet schools in the nation and their Ag program and research contribute a lot to help our farmers.

Yeah it’s like this in Clemson, maybe not as you mention it to be downtown. Usually it’s college students and families.
But now Clemson has multiple classes that teach liberal arts more specifically. The University is far more liberal than it is conservative anymore. And nobody can change the direction of it. Conservative clubs are less common. If you can find more than one current professor at Clemson that is conservative, I’d be surprised.
Regardless of if the team truly had any political influence in their decision, I applaud Kirby for putting his pride away and respecting his players’ decisions. And if was because of recruiting, no one cares.
Y’all are still not getting Sammy Brown.

I just have a bigger motor than everyone.
I didn’t actually DO anything to earn it, either. Innate. Just God Given so why would I brag?
We each are born with traits and talents, and I think it is incumbent upon us to use the gifts we were born with to help others.
Look, Clemson is a good academic school. I considered Clemson. It has gotten tougher to get into Clemson than it did years ago. Certainly it is more conservative than UGA.
I just don’t like the arrogant academic snobbery and elitism that UGA has become. It might look good on a diploma and résumé, but they don’t get a dime of my money and I bash it continuously and Athens, Ga

that nobody takes you seriously or believes you have an ounce of intelligence that lends to the betterment of mankind. Clemson's academic standards have been consistently high for decades so nobody here cares about your perception of UGA's. The only thing that will ever be synonymous with UGA are rednecks, footbawl and good ole boy reach arounds. Athens has always been a ######## and always will be. You're 10 minutes removed from one of the largest traveled highways in the continental US and crime is as bad as your vagrancy arrests, in between football players getting arrested for drugs and guns possession. Stop deluding yourself about elitism, academics or the fact that you got a full ride for a secondary degree without an athletic scholarship, which we know isn't possible.
As much as you troll here, at least donate, ya blowhard. At least then we can take your money will we laugh at you.
