I know no one to call that will take "incoming" from me.
Instead of voice mail, prefer sending/receiving email.
Cell service here in the woods is crap, but Wi-Fi fills the gap.

For years have a "prepay as you go" account with T-Mobile. My monthly bill has never been over $2.50. I can afford that.
No one calls/texts me except my Bride.

The phone is a good camera, so use it a lot.
Here is one of my old home.

I prefer hand signals over a phone, so good post.
Even in person these days conversation is limited to folks showing you things on their phone.,

That's true but I still receive plenty of hand signals from fellow motorists driving cars with New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts plates.
