So Cade and Shipley (and Mafah too if you want I guess) have to carry footballs around with them all day. Classes, dorms, you name it. Nothing new there, we’ve all seen that in the movies. The twist though is putting a bounty on them. At any point, any Clemson student can try to strip the ball from them, and if they succeed, free 100 on an exam in the class of their choice.
So maybe it’s the jock at Fike who gets them, but maybe it’s the unassuming foreign exchange student in Brackett, or the sorority girl in the Horseshoe. COULD BE ANYONE.
I shall be sending this to Dabo via my good friend Davis Babb. You guys can thank me later.

It's free flowing around all college campuses these days. Strip the ball, get $10k! That'd be fun to watch.

This s exactly what Lombardi did with Travis Williams, he told him to take it into the shower, to bed with him, everywhere. It worked and Travis quit fumbling

I am guessing you watched the movie "The Program". This is what they did in that movie to keep the RB from fumbling all the time.

Tape the balls to their hands for a week

Class, sleep, whatever.... Got the ball there. Coaches tell everybody slapping the balls are permitted without consequence.
Then put stick em on every spot the ball could touch them.

You have a point...when I was a young soldier in Basic Training at Ft.Jackson, we had to sleep with our Rifle an M1 Grande if we messed up a maneuver with handling the weapon. It weighed 10+lbs and a tough bolt to pull back with the neck of the hand without moving your head.If you messed up,you put your thumb in the open and let got to have an M1 thumb. After sleeping with it,you learned.

One thing Ship might want to start holding onto also is his NIL money. I can’t imagine he will make a roster in the league.

Worked for Darnell Jefferson at ESU..... The Program.
That team was stacked.... Jefferson, Heisman hopeful Joe Cain who lost the Heisman to "he could go all the Wayman" from Michigan, Alvin Mack, Lattimer.
Such a great movie....
Loved his recruiting visit when the band and the cheerleaders were waiting for him at the bus stop...
"Darnell, ESU, we just want to welcome you".....

Practice with boxing gloves on. I remember an old story about a basketball coach doing that at every practice to increase ball control.

Remember the movie The Program? The running back always fumbled during the game, so the coach made him carry a football all week during school.

I didn't see it, but heard Red Parker had Ken Callicutt carry a ball around campus due to fumbles.

The best fumble fix is to run 25 laps in your jock strap.

Dead last in FBS in fumbles is bizarre. More like some kind of curse than coaching or skills.

I remember this tactic from high school. Probably too "tough guy" a move in today's world...someone might get offended.

think this may help the students release some anger from the losses and having to play our most important home games at noon or 3:30
