Remember Raymond Priester? He was one of our best RBs ever!

I believe when they timed him in the 40, they used an hour glass ... or maybe a calendar!
He absolutely never ran around any defender in his entire career.
He was very slow and had no deception whatsoever.
But ...
His lack of speed and wiggle didn’t keep him from setting yardage records at Clemson.
Although he has some growing to do, Kobe Pryor reminds me a bit of Raymond Priester when he first came to Clemson.

He was good as well as Travis Zachary, but we've been spoiled with the talent at RB over the last decade now. Those guys won't be forgotten tho

Huh, that's the weirdest thing ever...I was in school going to all the games then and don't remember that name at ALL. Was he a starter? Or was he only brought in for garbage time or something and maybe that's why I don't remember him?
I'm seriously wondering if this is like a Mandela Effect or something given how strange/rare it'd be that I wouldn't even remember the name of any player in such prominent positions even if they were backups then (not saying he was just haven't Googled yet to try to figure it out). Especially since I was actually going to all the home games and watching all the away games that were broadcast and naturally would have been much more connected/interested in things as a student.

Luckie saw very very limited action. Then it was Streeter’s position.
He was on team maybe 2 years. I believe I read on this board in the past he had all the physical attributes but none of the mental aspects.
I’m sure others can elaborate.

All true. BUT, Priester and Kobe Pryor are physically very different backs.
Prister was like 6'3 and 235lbs. Pryor is currently 5'10 and 205lbs.
Regardless, if Tony Elliot and Dabo wanted him he's legit.

Pretty much carried Tommy West teams. Priester was a beast.

Im being completely serious in asking you and you will answer in full disclosure. Makes no sense at all.
And just to be clear, it is incorrect to say: we had "an" Raymond Priester on our team. Please be man/woman enough to finally admit your error. Okay?

Priester was one of the most humble and nicest people I’ve ever met.
