Have backed my Tigers longer than many of you have been alive, never leave my seat/TV half-way through the 4th quarter or don't even make it till the half. I have never figured out what drives a troll or negative nancy butt a whole pile of you fans need to vacate this bored and head on over to FCF where doom and gloom is the order of business 8 out 0f 10 years. I want to start by saying I’m incredibly happy to have made the CFP once again. If you cannot see the program sliding somethings wrong.

You guys remind me of the flack I received in booster meetings trying to get Ken Hatfield, Tommy West, and Tommy Bowden fired. The blind cheerleaders we called them. “You’re not a Clemson fan if you can’t support Hatfield!” “You’re not a Clemson fan if you can’t support Bowden!” I heard it all. Orange colored glasses hide a lot of faults in the program. Wrong is absolute but y’all couldn’t be more wrong. I’ve spent five decades in Death Valley. I guarantee you no one loves Clemson any more than I do. Y’all seem to forget fan is short for fanatic. Fanatic is an unreasonable love or support for a team. It’s called a rabid fan base for a reason.

As far as the issues with the program today, we have quite a few. Promotion from within has built a culture of sycophants. Group think is real and our staff suffers from it. Riley and Luke were bought in to clean that up. The offensive line and production has improved. While the defense I’ve production has fallen off the table. 2022 the defense ranked 22nd. With top 5 talent. 2023 was 32 with top 5 talent. Today the defense sits at 63 with top 15 talent. Between 2011-2020 we lost 14 games. Between 2021-2024 we’ve lost 13 games. How can you NOT see the decline?! We WILL lose the fourteenth whether at Texas, AZ St, or the finals. That’s as many losses in four years as the previous DECADE! Tommy Bowden had about the same success on average as we have had since 2021.

I’m not saying get rid of Dabo. That’s asinine. Dabo does need to clean out the staff. Most of the position coaches and a couple coordinators need to go. The experiment hasn’t worked. Goodwin is a bust. Grisham is a bust. Stoudt is a bust. Conn is a bust. The list goes on and on. The only defensive coach I trust is Reed. Sure, they’re all great people and run a clean program. So was Hatfield. At the end of the day it’s about wins and loses.

Even though we disagree, I respect everyone’s opinion. I hope and pray we finally play four quarters of complimentary football and blow Texas out. I wouldn’t bet my house on it. Going into our last Natty I had no doubt we were going to beat Bama. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to look at our schedule and feel like we can walk through it like we used to.

I hope Goodwin and staff prove me wrong and become the most feared coordinators and position coaches in the game. He’s had four years. That’s all ANY coach can ask for!

and the defense is young with mostly underclassmen. I beleive Carter is the only senior starter.

As for Grisham, the WRs beleive in him and feel like they're getting developed.

Your "blind cheerleader" take can also be said about the naysayers. They look for reasons to bash someone or something if the team doesn't win every game every year. Just look at the board even after a win.

Having an opinion is one thing. But Some of the Finebaum type statements by supposedly diehard fans like yourself are over the top, often uninformed, and just meant to get a reaction. Presentation and information are key, not just emotional responses.
