I'm not trying to defend O'Brien but, to be fair, they have had a lot of injuries. That said, I'm not sure their record would be that different. The losses would've been closer though.

No, he got mad pretty much only because the reporter asked a “down question” and O’Brien berated him. Hating that they misperceive his team as “down and given up”.
Very similar to the Dabo out lash about “Clemsoni*ng ” in 2015. TNET censored the actual word. Dabo was right about that one, but I just mean how Dabo made the reporter aware of asking negative questions is not to be taken lightly. It’s just a question though. One that he might have been told to ask.
In reality O’Brien is going to be fired. His team sucks. And he’s just taking his anger out elsewhere. It’s a valid question.

They should be better. Letting Tom O’Brien go to NC State was one of the worst things they could’ve done for their program.

Thats common when you fire a long standing coach with a proven track record of success at your school. You spend 20 years looking for the next “him” and only get further and further behind where you were.

God has a plan for everything and He also has a knack for taking that which was meant for our harm and using it for good. Not sure why anyone would want to be so flippant about that, particularly someone who claims to be a Christian.

I didn't see anything wrong with his response.... It's a fair question but O' Brien showed some life in his response and basically called out the reporter for being a bum who shows up 1 time a month and asks nothing but negative questions.

Dumpster fire? They played Mich State, Stanford & Cal close. Lost by 2 TDs to Louisville & ND. Got trounced by Piit and Clemson. I'm not going to call that a dumpster fire. I think all of those teams were expected to win. Winning is hard. Half the teams will lose every week
