Agreed! However Brownell is a good man and he graduates his players. Winning doesn't matter to the administration and the Brownell supporters.

I'm no coot . If that is all you Brownell supporters have , you have as much logic as Drad had for keeping Brownell. You would have to be ignoring the facts to see how low Brownell has taken the basketball program. What is it going to take to get some of you see that he is failing to win like a coach should? By the way, SEC schools don't care about graduation rates.

Just a lot of people that are tired of hearing all of the crying about it. Nothing is changing this season. DRad has done what he feels he needed to do. For now, Brownell is the coach. He's been given his notice and what will happen will happen.
South Carolina's success has been a long time coming in basketball. Frank Martin was a good coach at a D1 program before Scar through money at him. They've had a huge facility and more history when it comes to basketball. And if you didn't see it coming then you haven't been paying attention.

With Brownell, all they can do is pump. His continued employment literally cannot be justified with facts or stats. So pump it is. I guess we'll be content to just be a football school.

We have heard enough of mediocre basketball under Brownell. It's no wonder that Drad can't hold a press conference about it. He would be embarrassed to defend his decision.

Laying Clemson basketball history at the feet of Brownell while ignoring the previous sixty-plus years is a joke. This forum reads a lot like some of the snippets I've been forwarded of the Coot faithful...an oxymoronic term if ever there was one.
