I don't know if I've ever been excited about a recruit more

than Pagano. This includes Spiller, Watkins, Nkemdiche. Steward, whomever.
There have been so many great defensive tackles from Samoa, Hawaii, etc. at Southern Cal, Oregon, Washington, UCLA etc. through the years who played in the NFL.

Dude just seems to bring the "attitude" that's been missing since the '80's/early '90's teams...a great pickup for Dabo & Co.

Just think. This could very well open the door for future west coast talent to look our way. Pagano will cause others to take notice. I'm sure his his high school coach will as well. This commit could provide dividends down the road for Clemson.

Y'all should still keep the full court press on Adams. Alot of schools cooled on Pagano once he came to the mainland and got destroyed at camps. Many feel his offer sheet is fabricated and that he isn't even a take for alot of the big schools he is saying want him.
Y'all are ging to have an awesome DL class either way but of the DL you are going to get he is the most likely to bust. Maybe Pagano works out but as a prospect Adams would be a much better get.

It doesn't seem to me UF or LSU cooled to much on him. There is quite a lot of butthurt from those two. It REALLY wouldn't matter to me if we (us, LSU, and UF) were the only three to actually offer.

He did poorly at one camp

against some of the top OL in the country.
I've heard that attributed to his flight getting in late and some pretty heavy jet-lag. Having experienced jet-lag myself, it can be a beotch.

Ahhhhhh.....thanks for clarifying that. I knew there was a reason he picked Clemson, now I find out that we were his only commitable offer. Thanks for letting us know coot!

Didn't say he wouldn't end up being a good player. However, he is a huge dude playing some very weak competition so his film is going to look great. Also, reports at the camp that he kept jumping to the back of the line to avoid being beat again in drills. Still, UF definitely wanted him. Some think the LSU offer wasn't commitable at this time. None of that means he won't turn out to be great. I just disagree with the thought that he is the most exciting of your DL recruits or nearly as exciting as getting Spiller or Watkins. he is nowhere near the level of prospect that Spiller or Watkins were nor the level that RN and Adams are.

I'd like to see your claimed "reports".
The kid has over 30 "commitable" offers, including one from Ball Sack.
If you think your deluded nonsense holds any credibility, then you're an idiot.

He's definitely Samoan-like and has that pacific islander physique and demeanor.
I played rugby with some Samoan's down in Hawaii when I lived there one time and I would almost swear their heads were made of stone. Very, very, country strong, very determined, hard nosed, and tough athletes that you would want to go to battle with.
I hope this will open more eyes over there as to the Clemson Opportunity.

Pagano is an Italian/Sicilian name. He definitely looks good. Very exciting player.

I agree, he is as big an addition in this recruiting cycle as any!! Looks like a man among boys at HS level but will be much needed here at CU next year along with the other DL we have...It all starts with the OL and DL and we are looking pretty good
