Looks like a couple of possibilities for losses...much more so this week than last IMO.
1. Alabama (vs. Texas A&M) 2. Kansas State (@ TCU) 3. Oregon (@ California) 4. Notre Dame (@ Boston College) 5. Georgia (@ Auburn) 6. Florida (vs. UL Lafayette) 7. LSU (vs. Mississippi State) 8. So. Carolina (vs. Arkansas) 9. Louisville (@ Syracuse) 10. FSU(@ Virginia Tech) 11. Oregon State (@ Stanford) 12. Oklahoma (vs. Baylor) 13. Clemson (vs. Maryland)

While none of the the top 4 teams would drop below Clemson with a loss, I think both Alabama and KSU need to come ready to play.
As for games I could see a loss that could drop that team behind Clemson?
7. LSU (vs. Mississippi State....LSU's season is over now that they won't win MNC. 8. So. Carolina (vs. Arkansas)...Arky has Scar's # 9. Louisville (@ Syracuse)...SU plays well in Carrier Dome 10. FSU(@ Virginia Tech)...Thursday night in Blacksburg 11. Oregon State (@ Stanford)...two even teams.
Would not shock me if 2 or 3 of those games end in a loss for the team that is above Clemson.

Anything can happen, of course, but realistically the only one I can see is OSU losing to Stanford.

I can see Stanford beating Oregon St.. If that happens,

Stanford jumps us. If Alabama goes to sleep, aTm could give them a scare, but I doubt it. I don't really see any others that are likely. We probably don't move up next week, could even fall back with a good win.

I think we need Stanford to beat Oreg St which would probably move them above us. Stanford then plays Oregon and loses. This moves them below us. Isn't the competition for the last BCS spot between Oregon St, Stanford, Oklahoma and Clemson?

Won't happen. We are Waaaaay ahead of stanford in the BCS. We are closer to #8 in terms of points than we are to #14. We could jump two or three positions but if we keep winning no one will jump us. Too much distance between #13 and 14+. We are at .57 and stanford is at .50. For reference SCar is at .62, and OK (#12) is at .58.

While nothing is a given in college football, at this point I can see five or six teams that the Tigers could possibly beat.

1. Alabama (vs. Texas A&M)--Finally get to see Bama play a Very Good Offense. I can see this being very Close 2. Kansas State (@ TCU)--TCU is no pushover and will play balls to the wall to get the upset 3. Oregon (@ California)--No game at all 4. Notre Dame (@ Boston College)--No game at all 5. Georgia (@ Auburn)--Could be close, AUB is an SEC team afterall 6. Florida (vs. UL Lafayette)--no game at all 7. LSU (vs. Mississippi State)--Could be interesting since LSU has nothing to play for 8. So. Carolina (vs. Arkansas)--no game at all 9. Louisville (@ Syracuse)--just don't have faith in Louisville 10. FSU(@ Virginia Tech)--Beamer getting tired of losing could be more focused than ever, and they have Super Thomas 11. Oregon State (@ Stanford)--Stanford wins this game 12. Oklahoma (vs. Baylor)--Baylor can score with anyone, just can't stop anyone 13. Clemson (vs. Maryland) -NO game at all

going out on a limb and saying AU will beat UGA at home - they are not as bad as many think - they should have beaten LSU at home

Neither Louisville nor the SEC teams really matter to us.

I mean, sure, it's nice to have a higher ranking, but ONE Big East team is getting a bid, and definitely not two Big East teams. Similarly, TWO SEC teams will get bids...doesn't really matter which two.
The teams that matter to us are Notre Dame, PAC-12 teams and Big 12 teams. And of course FSU, but that's more for the ACC than a BCS bid.
In the PAC-12: Oregon State has to play @ Stanford and against Oregon. Oregon will continue to look to make a statement to get to the BCS championship. Stanford plays Oregon State, @ Oregon and @ UCLA, and already has two losses. If they lose any one of those games they'll be a non-factor.
In the Big 12: Oklahoma has to play vs Baylor, @ WVU, vs Ok State and @ TCU. A tough list of opponents but none that are currently ranked. Even if they win out, we are very close to them now and we possibly jump them with a win over 8th ranked South Carolina.
Overall we're in a good position if we can keep winning.

They won't lose to BC or Wake. Even with a loss to USC they will get a BCS bid IMO.

having to play any teams with an O. Why Miles took the ball out of Mettenburg's hands on their last drive still baffles me. LSU was moving the ball with the play-action passes and then decided to run 3 times and try an all-time best FG. Mangus-poor coaching. A first down would have sealed the game. Bama was out of time outs.
