will be given the credit due to him since he has been blamed for the adversity and lack of offense this year.

And if we make another offensive run over the next few years again Tony Elliot should be given the credit his deserves.

IMO I believe Clemson is getting geared up for another NC run and several good years of Elite college football.

Agreed. We have done in spite of during Tony’s tenure for the most part. It is not all Tony this year, but a good OC would have never had an offense with our talent ranked this low.

Are saying the Tigers will win a National Title next year with a complete lack of any passing attack and a QB in DJ that is almost as responsible for as many points for the other team as his own? Ain’t happening. But if they hit on Klubnick and he’s ready or a portal guy can step in if he isn’t and perform decently then hell yes. They would have this year had DJ not faceplanted and buried the team.

I think we might have a slight drop off on defense, and I don’t see DJ improving by leaps and bounds. Asking a true freshman QB to come in, master the offense quickly, and lead us to the playoffs is a very tall order, even for someone as talented as Klubnik.

Your probably right. But I really believe if they had someone that could at least be a net positive, not even good, at QB they’ll be back in the hunt. If Kelly Bryant were here for example, I think they are possibly unbeaten. Look at his 2017 highlights and compare that to DJ. And I thought it couldn’t be worse. DJ has been a harsh reality check for me and and I’m sure many other fans.
