You can call me a sunshine pumpers if you want but it comes down to what type of person I am. I am a positive person who lives with hope. I feel like those who lose Hope are really sad people. For those people I pray God will help them find hope again. It gives you a reason to live believing that better times are ahead.

Dabo relies on his Christian Faith to give him Hope through difficult times. IMO, Dabo is the Head Coach these kids needed this year after failing to live up to all of the preseason hype.

Many of these kids never lost hope. This is why they could finish with 7 or 8 wins after loses to LSU, Syracuse and Duke. I agree with Dabo this team has the Heart of a Champion.

Many successful people even millionaires have gone through adversity and failures in life. But believing in hope they eventually came out on top. You should read about Chris Gardner “ The Pursuit of Happyness “ movie about his life story. A man of hope and courage who refuses to lose hope. His true life story covers much more than the Hollywood Version.

Because of Dabo’s positive influence, Our kids learned to believe in hope even though games like Duke when Clemson had a win snatched away from them in the last seconds of the game due to incompetent officials.

Many players learned from this game that life is not always fair. But you continue to fight, and you continue to hope and believe in a better future.

During this season’s adversity what would Dabo have accomplished by further embarrassing his team by admitting that at times they have played poorly, and they have lost games they should have won. These kids did not need to be reminded of this season’s poor performance and failures. They knew it firsthand and they hurt from constantly knowing what could have been.

This is where a great Coach like Dabo finds the positives out of a bad situation so he and his staff can use these adverse experiences as teaching moments about life. How to overcome adversity and failures. I sincerely believe many of these kids will become stronger, better, successful Men when they leave Clemson because of what they as a team accomplished in 2025.

I am guilty of this too. Unfortunately during seasons like 2025 fans only think about themselves and how frustrating and disappointing this season was for us. We have a tendency to take out our frustrations on the coaches and the players. As fans I think we can become spoiled and selfish forgetting that these kids and coaches will live with the disappointments and lack of potential accomplishments in 2025. They will remember this season longer than many fans will.

I guess I am a sunshine pumper because of my Christian Faith, believing in hope that life will get better going forward. I love Clemson, I am “ All In “ with Dabo and I am grateful for Clemson’s successes under Dabo’s leadership.

And like most Clemson fans I am disappointed in this season. At the same time I feel good about this team that could still win 8 games if we include the BG.

Considering today's culture, and the state of Clemson football before Dabo, you can call me a "pumper". That's fine. Most people have an overestimated belief in where Clemson was before Dabo. Howard had losing seasons; quite a few, actually. Danny was very possibly about to be flushed, just before '81. The Orange Britches saved his season vs USuC, and his tenure. Clemson was considered a good team, before Dabo, but not great. Dabo made us better. I'm giving him a chance to "right the ship". I'll dig my hole deeper....I do not want to be considered in the same vein as a Bammer fan. No Natty, we suck. We're not going to win every game, and that's fine, too. It would be pretty boring if we won every time. Am I disappointed with the season... absolutely. How in the flying #### did this season crash and burn, the way it did. Change needs to happen with some coaches; I would like to see Dabo consider using the Bunghole, excuse me, Portal a bit more...but it's not the solution. Either way, call me what you want. I'm all in for Dabo. He got us here; I'll wait a bit to see if he can pull us back out.
