He still has double digit INTs. This doesn't change that.

I have higher expectations than you I guess. I want our qb to protect the ball. Sorry you don't agree.

Sorry you can't learn to keep your mouth shut when you've had one too many beers and the game isn't going exactly your way. That same liability led us to the win.

Im not happy about the INTs either, but with the game on the line I want the ball in #4s hands...bc he delivers. Stop celebrating our win until you create a thread eating your crow and apologizing to DW4!

I agree he is the man with the game on the line,

I just wish earlier decisions didn't put the game on the line.
You can't be the best if you're satisfied with the 99% of the things you do right, need to always chase the 1%.
I'm hoping Watson comes back next year. He needs a year to prove he can improve on the high INT rate.

While I would personally love him to come back for selfish reasons, NFL analysts (real ones) are projecting him as a top 5 pick in this year's draft. Would I feel better at QB for next year over who I see right now taking a snap? Obviously, but if your a good fan, you want the best for our boys, and that means financial future being assured. A wise man would make enough on that 1st contract for their whole life. You don't screw with that,

Maybe you don't understand what a liability is.

A guy that gives you WAY more positives than negatives is not a liability. Cole Stoudt in the middle of the 2014 season was a liability (sorry Cole).

As I said before, when I'm agreeing with NAT...well, you've put me in a precarious position.

bashing any of our players before, during or after a game. First, you shouldn't bash players. Second, nobody should give up on these particular players at any time!

Everybody wants their QB to protect the ball. Yes Watson has been turnover prone this year (about 1/2 per game if you include fumbles), but we are also asking him to do more this year because our running game just hasn't been effective as it was last year. Watson's attempts per game are up 15% from last year (roughly 38 a game compared to 33), and he's facing more pressure as well.
And the good with Watson outweighs the bad... by a lot.

Re: You realize that without DW we don't beat Lewisville or FSU

No he doesn't realize that. He's too busy focusing on a few mistakes to be able to see the big picture and the fact that Watson has only lost 1 game (besides GT injury game). I bet he's never had a performance evaluation anywhere near as good as DW4 or Dabo yet he's always demanding perfection from OTHERS.

I said I expect better from him. I along with everyone on this board assumed he wouldn't have an issue with INTs this year. Even Watson has admitted that he has been making dumb mistakes.
