A Roar texter this morning said it's time the team actually put this into practice...
“If you’re not going to give 110 percent, then keep your filthy hands off my rock”
Enter from the tunnel the rest of the season?

100% agree unless we boat race UNC and play with a vengeance in Chapel Hole. Would also consider no all in chips in locker and possibly going to solid helmets with no Paw.

Agree. If Dabo wants to not ALSO lose the fanbase there needs to be some outward display of accountability with this team. Whether it be the rock, running down the hill, losing starting spots, or whatever. Time to earn privileges back. If they want to transfer because of it - so what? This team is soft. We need to find a way to get fire and toughness back in the program.

As much as I hate to agree that we are soft, We are soft. Our former great player Shaq Lawson said it correctly, “This team Ain’t got no Dawgs. I think that Shaq’s brother Jahiem must be like his brother though, he played with some DAWG in him Saturday. He must be listening to his older brother. It’s been a long time since Clemson has put such a soft team on the field.

Lawson has seemed to be the best on the D line this year. Not sure what is up

with the ones that are supposedly first-round draft picks. Have not seen much evidence of that thus far.

I agree. Lawson and Heldt look to be the only guys on the D line with fire.

Unfortunately, I don't think kids at Clemson and other traditional rich schools really care and don't come to a school because of whatever tradition they have. Its all about the dollar signs. This isn't the case for everybody but for a lot of these kids nowadays. If you take the rock away, I don't see it changing much.

Oh, for sure. That’s just one simple thing the fans will take note of. There are other ways - sitting on the bench, fines, whatever. There are ways. Dabo is coddling this team and they are SOFT.

here's what I AM for; Let the guys rotate through while standing at the top and have everyone touch the Rock. Then, when the cannon goes off, everyone run down the hill like an absolute avalanche of humanity like we used to do. This whole 'skip down the Hill two or three at a time' thing is just embarrassing and whatever the OPPOSITE of intimidating is.

Totally agree! While you’re at it, take the nameplates off the back of the jerseys and maybe lose the right to wear the paw on the helmet until you can earn it back.
